Masters H2O is a volunteer-run club, and our members play an important role in helping the club run smoothly throughout the season.

There are many ways to get involved, whether you can help with a specific project or would like to take on a more regular role.

Opportunities may include:

1. Registration support
2. Competitions and club events
3. Communications and social media
4. Member communications
5. • Administrative projects
6. Club activities
7. Executive and ongoing club operations

Member Contribution Discounts

To recognize members who make meaningful contributions to the club, Masters H2O may offer registration discounts based on the type, level, and consistency of involvement.

50%: Core / Ongoing Club Operations

For members who consistently contribute throughout the season and take responsibility for significant ongoing club operations.

Examples may include ongoing administration, financial responsibilities, member communications, registration management, problem-solving, and other regular operational responsibilities.

25%: Regular Executive Support

For members who contribute regularly throughout the year but whose responsibilities are lighter or less frequent.

Examples may include communications, social media, meetings, club decisions, seasonal activities, and regular support of club operations.

15%: Project, Registration, Competition or Club Activity Support

For members who take on a meaningful responsibility for a specific project or period.

Examples may include significant registration support, competition responsibilities, event organization, or another important club project.

How the Discount Works

The examples above are guidelines only. Helping with a specific task or activity does not automatically qualify a member for a discount.

Eligibility and the applicable discount level are reviewed and approved by the Masters H2O Executive based on the member’s actual contribution, including the level of responsibility, time involved, consistency, and overall support provided to the club.

Members who qualify under more than one category receive the highest applicable discount only. Discounts cannot be combined.

Discounts are earned based on completed or established club involvement and are applied to the member’s next eligible registration period.

Discounts are not applied retroactively to a registration that has already been completed or paid.

Before each registration period, the Executive will review eligible contributions and confirm any applicable discount for the upcoming registration.

A discount approved for one registration period does not automatically continue into future seasons. Continued eligibility depends on the member’s ongoing involvement and is reviewed again before each registration period.

The Masters H2O Executive reserves the right to determine eligibility and the appropriate discount level based on the needs of the club and the contribution provided.
